What Is Concrete Lifting?
Concrete lifting, also known as slab jacking or foam jacking, is a cost-effective, non-invasive method used to raise and level sunken or uneven concrete surfaces. Instead of replacing entire concrete slabs, a specialized material (often spray foam) is injected underneath to lift and stabilize the slab.

How It Works:
  1. Small holes are drilled into the sunken concrete.
  2. A polyurethane foam or grout mixture is injected under the slab.
  3. The foam expands, gently raising the concrete back to its original level.
  4. The holes are sealed, and the surface is ready for use—often the same day.

Common Areas for Concrete Lifting:
  • Sidewalks
  • Driveways
  • Garage floors
  • Patios
  • Basement slabs
  • Steps
  • Warehouse floors

Benefits of Concrete Lifting:
  • Faster & cheaper than full replacement
  • Minimal downtime – walk or drive on it the same day
  • Long-lasting results
  • Reduces trip hazards and liability
  • Eco-friendly with less waste

Concrete lifting is especially useful in Wisconsin’s climate, where freeze-thaw cycles often cause concrete to settle or shift. It’s a smart, reliable solution for homeowners and businesses looking to fix uneven surfaces without the mess or cost of new concrete.
